I'm 52 and have been waiting for symptoms for ages. So far, I've had none. Periods regular as clockwork and nothing else going on.

This month my period is 10 days over due and I've had none of my usual premenstrual symptoms.

Too much to hope that it might be this straightforward?

I was you. Just the same. Wondered what all the 'menopause fuss' was about.

Fast forward 12 months and flushes on the hour, all day long and waking up all night. Got HRT and been on it for years as even on it my sleep is far from ideal.
