@Pmj welcome! I'm afraid I can't advise on the Evorel Conti sorry. I had Conti & Sequi but found they didn't work on mu symptoms. I'm 50 and always had regular periods up to now. Anyway maybe someone else can help. Good luck

Elleste Duet is a sequential regime which will have been inducing a monthly bleed. You might find your natural periods have stopped and by moving to a continuous regime this balances out the hormones and might help your symptoms. Also moving from oral to transdermal HRT is safer.
its a good option to move to. You might find there’s a settling in period and some spotting in the first few months. If it doesn’t suit you for any reason there are other options.

Have you used Elleste Duet for 9 years?

Not sure if that's what you mean.

If you did, then a monthly withdrawal bleed is normal.

Is that what you meant?

Sorry ment to put on elleste duet 2mg for 4 years, yes I had monthly bleeds they where ever 26 days and feeling fine .
Then 3months ago it changed bleeding every 31days and a lot of my symptoms came back, with this happening didn't know if I was going into the menopause x

It's actually more normal to have the bleed at 31 days, roughly 3 days after the last progestogen tablet. If you were bleeding by day 26, that's before the end of the pack (so, early.)

At 53 you are likely to be post-menopause although some woman do go a bit longer. The bleeds you had are created by the HRT- they are not actual periods.

You can try the new HRT which may help ease your symptoms, as it's transdermal and often absorbed better than tablets.

See how it goes and if you have problems, see another GP - not the one who was so unhelpful.
