No bleed on cyclical HRT

I have been taking HRT for three months. The first month was Evorel Sequi but I didn't get on with the patches. Since then - two quirts of Estrogel in the morning every day and then utrogestan 200mg orally for day 15-26 of cycle.
The first month I had a bleed that started on day 28 and it was quite heavy. I suspect it was my period as well as the withdrawal bleed if that's possible.
This month I stopped the utrogestan 6 days ago on day 26 and nothing. I am having a tiny amount of brown discharge, nothing like a period. Very large, sore boobs the last couple of days. NOT PG.
My main question is when do I count day 1 again ? Was it 5 days ago as soon as I stopped the utrogestan or is it when/if I get my period?
Also, has anyone else experienced this? I am wondering if my own cycle is strong enough this month to override the HRT??
Prior to HRT my cycles were regular in that they always came - between days 21 and 36, so regularly irregular if that makes sense. Until just before starting HRT I had one 49 day cycle.
Yes I will fill in an e-consult and get GP advice also :)

My understanding is that you stick with the medication cycle. Ie day 1 is the day after you stopped the Utrogestan.

im having the opposite issue (3 months in). This month my bleed started before I started the Utrogestan. Previous 2 months it’s started about day 7 of taking them. But I’m sticking to taking it on schedule anyway. Hopefully things will settle in time.

thanks @Flockameanie I wonder how much the underlying cycle is dictating things - and maybe it all gets into tune after a while.

i am on cyclical type of hrt ( femoston2/10) and sometimes I have no bleed. My gyn say that it is ok.

I DID have a full bleed in the end. It was 'day 8' of my HRT cycle. I suffered quite a bit in the run up with very sore boobs and pms, so I imagine my own cycle provided plenty of progesterone on its own this month, and the top up from HRT was a bit too much.
I would have been due to start taking the Utrogestan again just four days into my 'period' whilst still bleeding and still having sore boobs. I've decided to wait and try and re-set the cycle and move to taking the Utrogestan on days 1-12 of every calendar month. Feels like this will be easier..... hopefully....
