I've been in peri-meno for about a year and I've noticed all this time that I can't bear to be in any fitted clothes for any longer than is appropriately and socially possible. The minute I'm in from work or being out with friends I must remove jeans, bra, any clingy vests or socks and put on large pyjamas and oversized t-shirt. It's like I'm sensitive to all clothing that isn't floaty. Anyone else have this as part of peri or is just being older not really giving a toss?

Me too - I've no idea if it's linked but been in the past year. I only like loose jersey material - I look like a right slob

There's a reason Hush have sold so many pairs of harem pants.

I have to wear loose clothing which I can take off swiftly to deal with the boiling temperature when a hot sweat comes over my body. When it cools down my clothes are damp and I feel cold. This better end soon because it is horrendous

I'm glad it's not just me - I look like a slob around the house too. I'm worried that it's only a matter of time before my indoor attire becomes permanent and I become one of those people that goes to the shop in my pyjamas.

Yes, general aching all over has led to wardrobe changes. Also very sensitive skin. After 10 months of hrt (only a few weeks at this higher patch) I'm starting to feel less bothered. I actually wore boots last week to work for the first time in years and it was ok and I didn't hobble too much the next day.

Thinking of trying testosterone longer term when I know I'm on a good dose of oestrogen partly for libido but also for aches and exhaustion.

The Newson clinic no longer has waiting lists if Gp won't prescribe (I think mine will)
