Flat Stools. Hemmroids, Fibroids??

A bit concerned and looking for any similar experiences. Caution. TMI.
Since the birth of my 4th child over 10 years ago, I have had flatter stools. I had brought it up to my gp who confirmed that sometimes the “anatomy changes”. I did have 3 episiotomies including a 4th degree tear if I remember correctly.
More recently I feel that I am having incomplete bowel movements with continued flatter stools. I also can have frequent days of tenderness which I think is a hemorrhoid but can’t see clearly.

I have also been diagnosed with a 5cm fibroid that I am currently waiting to see a specialist for.
of course my concern is colorectal cancer. I’m 50.

I asking if anyone might know if fibroids or haemorrhoids can cause flat stools. It feels that something is in the way. No blood at all but very concerned.
so embarrassing

Please see your GP.

A change in stools- runnier, more pencil-like, constipated, incomplete emptying - can be a sign of bowel cancer BUT it can also be caused to a rectal prolapse (rectocele) after difficult vaginal births. The bowel starts to sag into the vagina, making it harder to empty.

This is the most likely problem you have, but please do get checked out.
Don't be embarrassed- bowels are just another part of the body as far a dr is concerned.

Have you been examined ? Does your anus feel ‘normal’ to you ?
