Menopause and recent pregnancies

Not sure if this is the right place to post.
I'm TTC for 15 months now (with one MMC) and am 32.

My mum went through menopause at 45 and apparently this means I'm likely go through it at a similar time.

I've been reading a lot that fertility declines substantially about 15 years before menopause.

I know if I look back in my own family, my mum's last child was at 31 and her mum's was similar.

Is this a thing? Do most find they struggled to conceive in this time period before the menopause, or to the contrary?
Would love to hear people's experiences.

Age of menopause does tend to run in families but it's not 100% for certain.
I have friends whose mums had full menopause by their late 30s but friends were late 40s and early 50s.

15 years is a bit early. The wind down usually takes up to 10 years but again it's not absolute. I noticed a few irregular cycles at 48 but wasn't post meno until 53.

Have you thought of having the AMF blood test for your ovarian reserves? And your partner having his sperm assessed?

Thanks for the reply, that's helpful.
Yes, I'm definitely eyeing up those tests and will be going forward with them if still not pregnant by the new year.
