Bleeding and cramping

Honestly fed up started HRT roughly 5 months ago after 3 years of nil periods and now after 5 months of being on Evorol Conti I've stated to bleed 😳 Now wondering weather to continue or to just come of them all together, my moods anxiety was prob the only reason I went onto it oh and lack of sleep which I still suffer with but I'm now on citalapram and my anxiety is near but gone, Will this bleeding last this is my 4th day now is it breakthrough I honestly don't no this this being a women malarkey would put your head away Fed up confused and why have I started bleeding 😟😟😟😟😟

Please get in touch with your gp. All bleeding after menopause should be investigated. As a precaution, your gp should put you on the 2 week cancer pathway. This does NOT mean you have cancer, just that the cause of the bleeding needs to be looked into. I’m currently going through this and when I’ve mentioned it to friends, I have been surprised by how many of them have also had this. Good luck.

I'm afraid it does bring your periods (not a proper period but a withdrawal bleed) back, you're taking both oestrogen and progesterone right?

I've read a lot of people have the same issue apparently it's quite normal on Evorol conti patches if it continues I'll def be ringing the doctor Thank you 😊

I'm on the Evorol conti patch change twice weekly x

Evorel Conti is notorious for triggering bleeds.
It's the hormones stimulating the womb lining.

I would try switching to a different type of HRT. Maybe Oestrogen patch and utrogestan or coil?

I'm going to speak to the doctor next week see what she says honestly times like this I wish I was a man lol 😂 x
