Bleeding day 17

Not sure if this is right forum to post.

I am 50 years old and just today have some bright red blood on day 17 of my cycle. I noticed a tiny tiny streak a few days ago but assumed it was ovulation bleeding as was hardly visible. However day it is more and quite red.

I had a scan in December 2021 as my gp noticed m. I was diagnosed with adenmyosis (think that is wrong spelling) but like endometrosis but tissue growth inside womb. I had not had any symptoms really but wondering if this is start of ones.

I also sometimes have short cycles at 21 days but never 17 days

The final thing was I had covid about a month ago but had a period right after that was pretty much normal but longer bleeding I would say. Not heavy just dragged out and now this red blood at day 17

Could it be hormonal also as I am 50?

Hi update bleeding went away and then got brown discharge on day 28 of cycle then period started day 33

This month had spotting again but in day 11 nothing day 12 then again day 13/14 . Light pink or light brown

Seeing gynaecologist on Monday as my gp referred me .

Worrying a bit but know I had scan less than a year .

I also getting pains like urinary symptoms on and off all year like pain in urethra. Can go away then comes back again .

Anyone had similar ?
