Evorel Sequi 50 patches

TeeNoG · 27/09/2022 12:22

I started on Evorel 50 patches around a week and a half ago. I'll use these for 2 weeks of every cycle, and then 2 weeks of the Evorel Conti.

I've been feeling good, and this was the first cycle in over a year where I didn't suffer migraine at the end of my period, so overall pretty pleased.

However - the last couple of days I've been feeling a little..... wired to the moon? I'm hyper alert and maybe a little anxious/fluttery. Just wondering if this might indicate I'm on too high a dose? Or is this just what actually being alive feels like?! Any advice/views welcome Smile

If it doesn't feel okay, it is always a good idea to check in eg practice nurse or pharmacy if gp not available. However, I have had a similar experience and after a short while realised that I did in fact have this much energy once upon a time. Hope it continues to work well (enough)!

Yep, I feel exactly the same, just coming up to the end of the second week on Evorel Sequi. I will talk to the GP, as not sure to continue, cut patches in half (lots of talk on here of this being done) or stop them. It’s early days but really don’t like the anxious feeling I’m getting x

I use these too, they don't make me feel worse and I've seen some big improvements, except for the fact that I think I'm allergic to the glue on the patches. Does anyone else have that issue at all please?

TeeNoG · 01/01/2023 12:16

I did have that issue, but had made the mistake of applying the patches in the same place. My skin is fine now I vary location with each new patch.

I always place them on opposite sides when I change them, so they're not in the same place each time. I used to use the gel stuff, but it was so messy and took forever to dry.

Im on the same regime and just started a few weeks ago, hopefully I get the same energy surge! Especially the next couple of weeks as I have uni assignments due.

It's the first time in about 4 months I have gone longer than 2 weeks between periods as well, praying that continues if nothing else. I do feel generally better tho.
