Hi new to here so this has probably been covered but I don't know where else to ask! How do I know of it's menopause or something else. I had similar symptoms a few years ago but it was super low vitamin D. Now I have the same again (heavy and irregular periods, super lethargic and unmotivated) but no other menopause symptoms (all relatable as an older working mum). I'm 43 and started my periods age 9 and with all the open chat about it wonder if I'm just paranoid or making excuses or what. Vitamin D boost a few years ago fixed me like new though! It's near impossible to get a blood test appointment at the GP, even they they won't test what I ask for only what that GP thinks on the day. Is there a way I can ask for specific tests? Is anyone else in the same boat?!

You’ll need to see your GP. Getting HRT is a lot easier once you get to 45.
