My pelvis is vibrating!

This sounds mad but I’ve noticed over the last few days that my pelvis seems to be vibrating. It’s a sort of pulsing buzz, not constant, and quite gentle. It isn’t there all the time. A quick Google hasn’t brought much up apart from the suggestion that it might be a menopause thing (I’m in the peri phase). It definitely isn’t a sexual thing and isn’t distressing, just really odd.

Any experience of what it is, why it happens or how to settle it down? Thank you!

I have no idea but bumping for you!

I had that bit when I was pregnant.
52 years old now and it hasn't happened since.
Strange feeling !

No idea but I'm a week into HRT and had a similiar sensation, like an irregular kind of pulsing, in my vulval area the other day. Neither pleasant nor unpleasant, just odd. Never had it before so I assume it must be some kind of weird hormonal side effect. It passed within about 10 minutes, hope you feel more comfortable now too.

Hi op

I had it feels weird doesn't it, no idea what it was don't get it now though Confused

Thanks all. It seems to be happening more often over the last few days but that might be because I’ve started to pay attention to it. I get the sense that it’s reasonably common but not taken much notice of by medics. Hey ho … 🤷🏼‍♀️

In case this is relevant for you… It’s a feature of Long Covid for me. And many others with LC

It pops up every now and again … so it appears alongside other recurring issues like palpitations, worsened fatigue, palpitations, brain fog etc..

if I have a good couple of weeks it one of the things that disappears.

Maybe a sign to take things easy?
