Bladder problems - Meno related? Tell me your experiences

Anyone have any experience of bladder problems associated with the menopause please? I constantly need to go during the night, can get up 4-5 times in just an hour before falling asleep, will go a little bit and then lie back down only to get back up again 10 minutes later and go again. I can only then sleep for about 5-6 hours before needing to go in the morning and once I have been I seem to go again every 10-30 minutes for the first couple of hours in the day. During the day it settles down a bit but starts up again at night.

HRT often helps a lot with this.
I found my sleep improved on HRT. I had thought I needed to wake up during the night to pee but that was not the case once I started on HRT. Friends have had similar experiences.

I have been on HRT for 4 years and my consultant has just advised some estrogen cream for localised application, wanting to hear stories of where it has worked for others I guess x

Your consultant is right. Give it a few weeks /months to see good effects.

I agree that your consultant is right. Ovestin cream should sort you out.

Oh thank goodness....I am getting so fed up with this! I am up and down, up and down all night and it is leaving me exhausted :(

Thanks for responding x
