Hi, I’m 43 and I’ve been on patches since feb. I’m on the evirel ones so 2 weeks oestrogen 2 weeks oestrogen and progesterone. They haven’t helped so after a gyne referral (dr asked gyne for help on what was best for me) I’ve been prescribed the gel with progesterone for 12 days.
im due to change my patch tomorrow. It is the last with the progesterone and would be due to use an oestrogen only tomorrow. I’m spotting, I’ve only had a few days spotting instead of a bleed for a few months, so am looking for advice on when I should start my oestrogen gel? Do I class take off my patch early and use today as cd1 and use gel tonight? Or as I’ve had a patch on today do I take it off now and start the gel tomorrow?
