Stomach upset

Hi, has anyone experienced stomach upset during peri menopause or menopause? I’ve made a doctors appointment but it’s not for a month. Getting random bouts of vomiting / nausea, lasts for 24 hours, like a bug but no one else in the house is sick. I’m only 49 but had a hysterectomy a few years ago (kept ovaries) so early menopause expected. Thank you

49 wouldn’t be early menopause tbh. Is there anything you do or have that the rest of the household don’t? A month is a long time to wait for an appointment when you are frequently unwell, you must be so frustrated.

For most women, the menopause starts between the ages of 45 and 55

No, definitely just me as we all eat together etc. the reason I thought it might be linked to menopause is because I had digestive issues before my period too, pre hysterectomy.

49 wouldn't be early meno. Any other issues that could be gastro related?

Can’t think of any! Never had any before.

This feels for all the world like either morning sickness or a bad hangover and is relieved by vomiting (sorry if TMI)

I also have weight gain around the middle, joint pain, and am warm / sweaty (not hot flushes though)
