Hi, I have recently been prescribed (a month ago) and currently taking 1mg of Elleste Solo 1mg tablets. Prior to taking this medication, I was taking Femoston 1/10mg tablets. I am struggling to manage the symptoms of the menopause on the Elleste Solo dosage and would like to know the benefits/side effects of increasing this dose (after consultation with my GP surgery) to 2mg. My current symptoms that I am really struggling with are; anxiousness, emotional, sleep disturbance, forgetfulness, hot flushes. I would just like some guidance and support from women that are experiencing the same/similar symptoms as me and taking the same medication as me, to give me an idea of what to expect if the doctor allows me to increase my dosage.

Thank you x

Hi
Have you changed from a sequential tablet, (Femoston) to an estrogen-only type of HRT?

If you are taking estrogen-only you must have had a hysterectomy because otherwise you need progestogen as well.
