Did any Oestrogel users who were swapped onto other types of HRT during "the great Oestrogel shortage" find that it detrimentally affected your symptoms? Over the past few months I've been prescribed both Lenzetto and Sandrina as contingency options. For starters, it took me a while to get to grips with dosage (I'm normally 3 to 4 pumps of Oestrogel), and over recent weeks there's been a distinct, unexplained dip in my mood, with tearfulness, anxiety, paranoia and definite lack of patience with everything!!
I even had a breakdown at work over a minor criticism which is totally out of character.
I have been a PMDD sufferer for most of my life, for which I have taken 20mg of Fluoxetine over almost the last two decades. I spoke to my GP yesterday and they want me to up my dosage to 40mg, however I'm really nervous about that.
Can anyone offer any insight, advice or empathy, please?
