I don’t know if I missed a dose last night. Slept badly and woke up with a headache wondering if I’d missed it. Only 1/4 cup of my water drunk and I normally drink it all. I decided to take one when I woke up around 6 am and I feel a bit better although still headachey. Might be because I didn’t drink enough yesterday in work.
what should I do tonight? Take my usual dose or not? Thanks

I’m on a regime of taking it 1—15 of every month. I tend to forget it from time to time and my gynae told me not to worry about a couple of missed doses. What to do may depend on your regime.

Thanks. I’m on a continuing dose of 100mg every night. I’m just wondering if it’s going to be ok to take my usual dose tonight. Maybe I should take it but later than I usually would.

I sometimes forget to take my desk at night, and take it in the morning instead. I then take that day's one in the evening.

I seem to be alive, but I have no idea what the official advice would be.

Thanks LadyGardner. I think that’s probably the best thing to do. I hope that’s still ok to do if I did actually take last night’s dose though. That’s the dilemma.

Just take your usual dose as normal, it isn't like paracetamol that too much is toxic.
Have a little bit of paper and pen by your bed and tick it as you take it then you'll know for definite in future.

Find a way to remember when to take it.

I take mine very last thing at night after shower/ teeth clean.

If you forget it, carry on the next day as normal.

It's not a great idea to forget it too often because you are maybe going to get some bleeding after a missed dose.

@LadyGardenersQuestionTime The dose is better taken at bedtime because it can cause sedation (not great if driving etc) and can also make you dizzy.

Thanks Jingling, I will have to set an alarm and tick it off maybe.
Yes, I do usually take it last thing at night and it gives me a good nights sleep that way too.
