Androfeme

Hi,

I started on Androfeme today. I have researched it a lot and I have spoken to one friend who has been on it a while. The GP is not able to prescribe it although I am on a referral waiting list (could take one year plus). The nurse at the GPs suggested the Newson Clinic. I was lucky to get a cancellation and so from initial contact last Friday to today it has all gone very smoothly. There was a consultation with Newson which was very helpful and I will have bloods in around 3-months with a follow-up to see how I am getting on.

I am trying it with the hope that I can have a clearer mind, which is still foggy at times, more strength (HRT has helped here already but I am not where I should be) and libido which has been non existent for as long as I can remember.

Should be an interesting journey.

Has anyone else been on Androfeme for a while and if so what has the experience been like?

thanks

Hello!

I’ve been on Androfeme since October 2022 following a total hysterectomy - I’d already been taking oestrogel but needed to review HRT post-op. I was also prescribed via Newson Health (who’ve been a godsend since I discovered them 4 years ago).

It took a few weeks for the effects to show but by mid January my blood tests showed both testosterone and oestrogen levels as perfectly normal :)

I certainly feel better than I have for years - brain fog and concentration vastly improved, no night sweats or flushes, and yes libido back to where it was about 20 years ago! I feel like myself again and am just so grateful that I can choose to use the private route.

How are you getting on with it? I know it doesn’t suit everyone but I hope it’s working as well for you as it is for me x

Hi...I've been on androfeme for three days and m6 anxiety has returned..nit sure if it just mind overactive mind or my body is real sensative as I know you shouldn't feel any effects yet... I was wondering weather to Lowe the dose for the first week to see if that helps
