Just before I make a decision, I'm just looking for a little insight! Currently on the implant and have been for going on 16 years. Took a year out to try but that was an ectopic. I'm 40, no interest in more babies and have several of the peri menopause symptoms. So my simple question is can I stay on it and ride it out or am I better getting my implant out to let my body recover and see where I am. I thank you all in advance.

The implant may be stopping your periods rather then the perimenpause. Mine needs replacing and have started to get bleeding. What do you mean my ride it out?

Of you are referring to meno symptoms, that implant won't help. You will need HRT in the form of oestrogen.

I'd get your symptoms checked out, mine turned out to be cancer
