Testrol and hair loss

I have been on HRT for a couple of years, 2 months ago, I was prescribed Testrol for libido issues. No positive effect so far, but my hair seems to be thinning at an alarming rate since I started using this. My blood tests showed my levels were low before starting it. Has anyone else experienced this with Testosterone?

I've got the same thing with Tostran . I can't even comb my hair now its so bad, so have stopped taking the testosterone. Its only been 7 weeks but the last 4 I've really lost a lot of hair. I will not cope with losing any more no matter how great the gel made me feel.

Hi gezzab, Thanks for replying. That's interesting, must be the gel then. Like you, I'm not prepared to lose that much hair, also it didn't really give me a lot of benefit the way others have experienced, so I have also stopped using it. I did try using it every 3 days, but my hair was still coming out at a ridiculous rate.

Oh no! I was thinking maybe twice a week I would try as I'm definitely more knackered without it, but maybe I just need to stop it completely.

I stopped it a week ago so will let you know how it impacts on my hair.

Not prepared to be bald to get my libido back😂
