Hi, I had my last period 2017, and a month or so ago started HRT, estradot and utrogestan100 and they were great at helping me sleep and no more hot flushes. But two weeks ago I started bleeding and it slowly got heavier. Yesterday it was enough to need ST's, and now I have cramps and bleeding like a heavy period. I'm supposed to be using ovestin to help with prolapse, but I stopped to see if that would help, but it hasn't. I didn't take any utrogestan today and that hasn't helped either. I can't get through to the GP. Do you think it will stop by itself?

If you still can't speak to your GP, and I'd be tempted to call them now, then I'd call 111.

Thank you so much for replying. I got through today. The GP said she had accidentally prescribed the highest dose of estrogen, 100, and because I have fibroids that made the bleeding. She has prescribed a lower dose of estrogen now. Thankyou again for giving your time to reply
