A bit of background: I was thrown into surgical menopause last summer when my ovaries were taken out. I was on Femoston for peri then and was moved on to Femoston Conti after surgery. I did not get on with that and ended up in A&E twice with severe cramps (of the severity that led to my emergency surgery). I came off the Femoston & the cramps disappeared. I was then put on Evoril patches and I've been on them since the beginning of June. About a month ago I had a heavy bleed and since its been a constant light flow with light cramping. Has anybody else had this? Does it ever settle? I'm wondering if I'm just not cut out for HRT.
