Mirena woes

Mirena was fitted end of May and am using with a 75 oestrogen patch. I know it can take a while to settle but I've had enough.

Cramps and mood swings are dragging me down now and I want it out ( well I can want it i out, if I can get hold of the nurse who fitted it!)

Has anyone reverted back to continuous utrogestan and not bled? This is why I had the coil fitted to begin with ! Or maybe you doubled your utrogestan to prevent bleeding?

Thanks.

I had a similar experience with the mirena bleeding constantly. I had it removed and tried daily utrogestan which didn't help either, I was bleeding daily. I ended up having a hysterectomy, which was a blessing to be honest. Good luck 🤞

Yes I think a hysterectomy will probably be on the cards unfortunately. Can't see that utrogestan was magically working again for me.
