Does HRT have to be mentioned for insurance etc?

if you start HRT, does it have to be mentioned for travel insurance, income protection/critical illness cover?

It will surely depend on the precise question. If it asks for a list of any regular medication you might have to. I've never mentioned it in travel insurance as they ask for ongoing conditions (and menopause is not classed as an illness), and any planned tests.

Thanks. My policies are ongoing,have had them for years but just wondered. It not being an illness makes sense that it doesn’t change anything.n

I mentioned this recently for travel insurance and i can't recall ( thanks menopause ) if it made a difference or not. I don't think it did.

I mentioned it fir my last travel insurance. It did not affect the premium.
