So tried on a few clothes today in the sales & caught sight of myself in the mirrors ( back & front view mirrors) I look flippin ancient, dumpy tummy, jowelly kneck & naff hair. When the hell did this happen??
Anyone else had the shock of theiir lives?

Yep, when I put my glasses on and see how I really look! 😂 It’s easy to feel frumpy post lockdown when life just stopped and we took our focus of personal grooming etc…

Yep looked in the mirror and saw a chubby little grey washed out version of the woman who used to be me

Went to a Wedding recently. So disappointed in my outfit choice, when I saw the photo’s. Also shocked at what a difference that extra stone, which just wouldn’t shift, made to my figure. All downhill from here, I guess! 🥴

The lighting in clothing stores is rarely flattering.

Everybody looks grim like an armed convict in passport photos. I looked hideous even in my 30s in them.

if you aren 't happy with grey hair then box dye is excellent. I have been using L oving Care brand for nearly 30 years.

My figure has morphed into my Mums too. I vowed I'd never be bigger than a 12. I've now cancelled that vow, tunic dresses are made for a reason 😆

Me. It’s shockingly shit.

I used to look curvy - now I just look like a sack of potatoes. All lumpy and mis-shapen. My hair sprouts grey straight upwards out of the top like a turnip.

Browsing a clothing store a while back, I became aware of scruffy looking woman with ratty hair staring at me.
It took me a little while to realise they had large mirrors on the wall. I realised with horror that that the person staring was my own reflection 🤣🤣

How can that be me???

I look nothing like me. I can't shift 1 and a half stone no matter what I do. I have two chins. My shape has changed and it's not just the weight I put on.
Going away soon and not really looking forward to it as nothing fits properly and I'm all puffy when I fly anywhere
