we are abroad, quite remote. because i swim a lot, & its hot,my patches keep falling off. i have started putting them under my knicker line in the hope that keeps them on. i have enough that i could replace it every night so i get 12 hours or so worth of oestrogel before they fall off. would that work? i am concerned that it will lead to an imbalance with the progesterone tablets if i am not getting the oestrogel continually...
getting to a pharmacy not an option.
any bright ideas please? should i just have a weeks break from the whole thing?!

No, don't take a week's break. Your meno symptoms will return. Puttingt a fresh patch on in the evening is better, even if it comes off during the day. I have the same problem with patches, and also take extra with me whenever I travel, just in case.

I don't know about the oestrogen/progesterone thing, because I have a Mirena for the progesterone so I'm on continuous oestrogen. Messing around with the oestrogen patches has never seemed to be a problem.

If you know for certain that the patch will come off during the day, why not put two patches on at night?
