Do I need to increase oestrogen patch dose?

I started on low dose 25mcg Evorel patches a couple of months ago (with utrogestan 12 days per month). I’ve been getting on fine and symptoms seemed well managed. In the last week or two I’ve felt anxiety creeping back in and my sleep hasn’t been great, with that awful early morning 4am wake up.
I’m not sure why it’s had an initial good effect that now seems to be tailing off a bit after only a couple of months. Any thoughts?

Quite possibly - I found that I've had to slowly increase at each 3 monthly review.

I started at 37.5 in nov and felt great after a few weeks. That wore off and they moved me to 50 with no issues. (covid in feb may also have caused issues) However I really went down hill at Easter including occasional hot flushes and night sweats and complete loss of libido, and they did do a blood test which showed oestrogen as borderline too low. Around 134, gp prefers 600.

I found going to 75 tough initially but it's settled now. However I can tell I'm still not at the right level - had a night sweat last night and when I've overlapped my patches by a couple of hours I feel the difference in the afternoon.

It can take a while to find the right dose as well as the right type - some find gel or spray better, some need patches.

Thanks @WarriorN presumably 37.5 equated to one and a half patches?

Yes 1.5 of the 25 patches. Ideally should be in consultation with Gp but I'm seriously thinking of adding half of some 25s I have left for this week to see if it helps certain symptoms. <NOT MEDICAL ADVICE!> I'm only doing so because I know how low my oestrogen was on the 50 and night sweats. PI have a review in 2 weeks. Some women go up by half a 25 patch for a month as side effects can be tricky. I had a lot of leg cramps and water retention for the first month going from 50 to 75.
