Where am I?

At 40 I started peri (I think!) with symptoms of crushing anxiety, weepiness, and heavy, clotting periods. I’m now 46, and periods have settled, but they’re closer together (approx 24 days), shorter and lighter.
Is this a sign that I’m heading for the end of peri?

I’m also confused about another thing. This month I had a TERRIBLE luteal phase, where I had awful ovulation pain, and then an almost immediate shift downwards in my energy levels and mood. Reached a head a couple of days ago with raging PMT… but no period! I’m now two days late.

Could anyone shed any light? Thank you 💕

I forgot to add that my PMT has disappeared, and energy levels and mood has improved just like that. It’s pretty confusing.

Hi there, no real advice but have you thought of keeping a journal? I teach Menopause Yoga and one of the things I suggest is to keep a journal. You could also track your workload, life events, food sleep and drink etc. There is a great book a suggest to clients called Hormone Repair Manual by Laura Briden.
