Bleeding on the gel

Already got a Mirena coil, spotted for 7 + months when first fitted.
So I was prescribed 2 pumps of the gel a day. Decided to do 1 pump to start, to check there were no side effects.
On the fourth morning I woke up bleeding, not happy due to months of spotting when coil fitted. Stopped the gel.
Decided to give it the benefit of the doubt and think it could be a coincidental period. Restarted the gel after a week, woke up next two mornings bleeding. Now been left slightly spotting.
Going away soon so not starting gel again yet.
What should I do ? Start the gel again and push in through, phone the GP ?

Stop starting the gel isn't going to help I'm afraid.
Bleeding within the first 4/6 months of starting HRT is usual.
You need to allow the Oestrogen time to settle into your system.

FFS I’m sick of bleeding !

Yes it's crap. That's the reason why I had a mirena fitted, due to bleeding on the hrt patches !
