Do I need to change my HRT?

Hello,

I’ve been on Evorel Sequi since November 2020. At first it was great, almost an overnight relief, anxiety went, stopped being teary, much more steady moods, energy and get up and go increased. However, for the past 8 months or so, all of these have crept back in. I have absolutely no enthusiasm for anything, no energy, constantly tired, dizzy, teary, moody.

Does this mean that I need to change or increase my HRT?

I also have never managed to sync my periods to my patches, usually my period will arrive while I’m on the Conti patch, it’s all over the place ranging from 21 days to 33 days.

Any advice would be appreciated as I don’t know if this is just me or if a change would help. Thanks

Sounds like you need to increase it, you need to chat to the GP/nurse.

Thanks, so you think it’s down to the dose then? I’ll make an appointment.

Would you consider a Mirena coil for the progesterone part ? It might get rid of your periods completely.

I’m not against it, and have thought that it might be a good solution for the progesterone side, my only concern is that in the past I seemed to be slightly sensitive to progesterone, it made me come out in rashes. I would be worried that the coil would give me the same reaction. However, I’ve had no issues with progesterone in the patches.
