Peri menopause and gap between periods

I'm 46 (47 in October) and not had a period since Nov 21.

Saw gynae in Feb this year as had irregular periods and spotting for several months and sporadically over last couple of years when previously was super regular. He confirmed he thinks I'm perimenopausal and follow up vaginal ultrasound was clear.

I've also had other symptoms including hot flushes, brain fog etc..

My question is, what's the longest gap others in perimenopause have gone without a period? My boobs have been so sore for nearly a week now and, if I didn't know otherwise, I've just potentially started a period as also got cramps and last few visits to the loo have had light blood on wiping.

Kind of hoped I was nearly at the one year mark and got off relatively lightly!

Gaps over the last two years for me: 49 days; 23 days; 30 days; 56 days; 40 days; 80 days; 31 days; 133 days; 74 days; 71 days; 123 days; and currently 88 days and counting.

i'm 53 and bored to the back teeth of periods! I keep hoping that the last one turns out to be the last one but, as you can see from the above, nothing is certain.

I'd previously had gaps of 90/100 days but really thought this was it!

I might not have a full period yet as one of the symptoms I initially saw gynae about was this kind of show in between periods. Why does it have to be so complicated?!!
