I'm 44 and i have aching joints, anxiety and brain fog. I think i'm perimenopausal. My blood tests came back negative but i hear they are unreliable with false negatives. I want hrt asap. Where can i go from here?

Second opinion, you can always ask for one whatever the circumstances.

Can you afford to go private?

Did they test your thyroid ?

I would ask to go to another GP for a second opinion. My GP thought my peri menopause symptoms were signs of depression. I definitely wasn't depressed.

I eventually was prescribed HRT.
