Has anyone ordered testosterone from the Internet? My GP can't prescribe it. I have to be referred to a menopause specialist. Unfortunately the NHS waiting list has been closed until next year! I will have to go private.

Hey, interesting to hear you’re taking testosterone via underground labs, I’m also considering taking testosterone myself this way, can I ask what dosage you take? Is it injected subcutaneously? I’ve been doing some research, I’m post menopausal and currently on oestrogen but having no joy with my gp, my libido is flat, my hubby is a bodybuilder who uses anabolics, he’s suggested 5mg twice per week as a good starting point for me, but I wondered out of curiosity, what dosage you take, and do you take it long term or is it just when your running a cycle ? Any issues etc? Thankyou

I have testosterone and a patch

My GP did blood tests for all hormones as my energy levels were so low after a hysteroscopy and Mirena fitting. I’m also on Evorel 100 patches.

She said my testosterone levels were too low to measure, so prescribed Testogel. I’ve been using it about a month now and do feel back to my old self.

When I went to get my prescription, the lovely pharmacist said I could use my HRT prepayment cert for it!

I’m going back for more bloods in a week to check my hormone levels.

So unfair that getting it prescribed is so variable around the country.

I take more than that because I actually like to build muscle and strength. So I am taking 5mg every other day. I inject more frequently because I take the form (ester) that breaks down fastest, in case I want to stop and clear it quickly.

I push my luck a bit - my throat is sore. My voice hasn't cracked, but I feel it in my throat. Other than that, I would say that I only notice that my body hair seemd to be slightly thicker. Nothing crazy - nothing that wasn't already there. I just see more stubble in my armpits and bikini area.
