Also, didn’t get the pharmacy sticker on the bottle, so if I put the flattened box in the clear bag will that be OK for airport security ?

Make sure skin is dry and don't use any body lotion. I have used it for 6 years and was on 3 pumps, i just used it at night but some split the dose between morning and night.
I tend to use shoulders and upper arms. It is great stuff, i react to patches.

I was asked for prescription details and matching passport at airport security. I had the bottle in a bag, the box and passport in my hand. They took it away to test and held the whole line up but it was fine.

I packed my gel in my case when travelling aboard.

@LarkspurLane @KangarooKenny

It's less than 100mls so no need to declare. You can put it in your handbag.

Why did you get asked @LarkspurLane ? The bottle is 80mls so well within the 100mls limit.

Also, do NOT risk putting meds in hold luggage as some has gone missing or been stacked for days.

Keep it on you, in your handbag.

Prescription medication does not count against your liquid ‘allowance’ which, at the moment when there are such advantages to travelling with cabin baggage only, can be important. I put my HRT in a separate clear plastic bag to my toiletries. Generally it is also possible to put the two separate bags in separate trays in airports too since most people are have at least two because they’re removing shoes, iPad, laptop, smaller handbag etc. I think that technically we are each only supposed to carry a maximum of one litre of liquid in containers holding no more than 100ml.
I fly quite a bit and only once was my HRT taken away and scrutinised and that was in Mexico. I didn’t have a copy of my prescription with me but luckily had enough rudimentary Spanish to explain that it was medication. Now I’m more careful to carry prescription and retain packaging but honestly have only had it questioned once.
