Oestrogen & utrogesten best time of day to take

So got my prescription for oestrogel (2 pumps a day) and utrogesten one tablet at night (no break as I haven’t had a period in over a year) when is the best time of day for the oestrogel? I would prefer just before bed but not sure if there should be a gap ie gel in morning tablet at night or whether you can just do both together?

It makes zero difference when you apply gel.

Bear in mind these things though...

you can't shower , swim etc, for at least an hour after applying it or use body lotion before or after.

you can't get skin to skin with another person for an hour after applying, when it might rub onto them ( so if it's on your thighs or upper arms.)

Thankyou I was hoping you’d be around😁

Take when it suits really. Keep in mind leaving time for the gel to absorb and the Uttogestan can have a sedatory effect meaning better sleep but this doesn't happen for everyone

Can I jump in?
When's the best time of the month to start if periods are very irregular? Can you just start with the gel anytime?

Yes you could if your periods are all over the place. Your bleeds might be a bit erratic initially but should then regulate to the sequential HRT regime.
