I take norethisterone as the progesterone element of my HRT, but I know that this is normally also used to delay periods for holidays etc. has anyone used this for both snd how?
Testogel has rediscovered my libido for me and I want to make the most of an upcoming holiday!

I used it for around 6 years then changed to Utrogestan.

Why do you ask? I'm confused. Are you wanting to use it to delay a withdrawal bleed?

(That's possible with any type of progestin used as HRT.)

You can either extend the estrogen only weeks, or take a longer course of Norethisterone.

I currently use Oestrogel continuously with Norethisterone for the first 12 days (2 tablets per day). Do I just carry on the Norethisterone until I want to have the withdrawal bleed?

Yes.

Or if it's not too late, just don't do the 12 days of tablets one month and wait until you are on holiday to start them/ back from hols or whatever fits.

I am due my period the second day of our holiday and would finish the day we fly home. Not sure if the tablets to delay it would work or make my period worst. After by youngest was born I was put in the mini pill and ended up having 5 bleeds in 6 weeks.
