Oestrogel Without Utrogestan

I've messed up. I'm on Oestrogel and Utrogestan and I'm close to the end of my current gel pump so i did a repeat order with my GP surgery Thursday but we had a medical episode as I was leaving work, which delayed me and I missed the pharmacy but thought I could pick it up Saturday morning but I've just seen it's not open. I go on holiday Sunday for 2 weeks. Can take the Utrogestan without the Oestrogel or should I stop altogether? I guess there will be nowhere I can get Oestrogel now?

Just ring 111 and ask them to issue you a prescription, make up some extenuating circumstances. I wouldn't say you left it too late with a 2 week holiday on Sunday just say you've lost your medication and need a prescription as you're going away tomorrow.

Doesn't help you now and I don't want to sound patronising but always keep well ahead with orders, I reorder a prescription for medication I take as soon as I start a new packet.

Not harm will come to you if you stop the utrogestan or continue with it.Whichever feels better.I agree though, you might find that your pharmacy will make up a months supply if you explain.

@JaniieJones Done it - thanks so much. I just have to hope the Boots I nominated the electronic prescription to go to has it in stock. I should have checked before I called 111. And not patronizing at all. Lesson learn and I'm really grateful for the info!

probably too late, but if you[re going to Spain (Italy or France too, I think) you just buy it over the counter, at farmacia.
