I've recently been diagnosed with Graves'Disease, and prescribed Carbimazole. Blood tests show it's working well on my thyroid hormone levels, and I feel really well.
I'm on cyclical HRT, and since starting the Carbimazole I have started my 'bleed' while still taking the Utrogestan. Usually bleeding starts two days after I stop taking it. In all other respects it's the usual (for me) 5 days 9f light bleeding, then it stops.
I did ask the endocrinologist if this was a known interaction, and he said no. Has it happened to anyone else? It's annoying because I don't know when it's going to happen, whereas it was very regular prior to starting the anti-thyroid drug.
