Testim Vs Testogel - starting testorterone

I'm about to start a T trial and my menopause Dr has asked if I want Testim (a 10th a tube a day) or Testogel (an 8th tube a day). I'm assuming Testogel might be easier for estimating an 8th of a tube.
Does anyone have experience of these gels?

I use Testim, and find it easy to use. Have previously used Androfemme which I didn't like. Not sure if that's helpful!

I use testogel. I’m only on my first sachet but it’s easy to use. My Dr just said to use a pea sized amount and a sachet should last 8 days.

I prefer the fact that Testim is a gel, and dries quickly. I found Androfemme didn't. Testim seems to 'work' better for me too. Also, it's cheaper (private prescription as my GP won't prescribe it).

No side effects from Testim, easy to use and it dries quickly. Works for me and improves stamina, and I think more clearly. I can't comment on libido as I didn't have any issues there. It's cheaper than Androfemme!

Both really. Think loss of libido is more related to a shit promotion but I will take any improvement🤣

I had testosterone levels tested along with other hormone levels and they were very low hence the prescription. I was offered a pump which dispensed the correct amount at vast cost or the much cheaper sachets and as a nurse and with a private prescription, it was a no brainer for me.

I’ve been told it can take 3 months for levels to be optimised so will have repeat bloods done then.

I've got Testim. Ultimately you just need to get in a pattern where one tube lasts 10 days (or 8 if you get the other one). I don't worry too much about exact dosing as long as it's about a pea size. I've had good results for muscle building and energy but not much difference to libido.

I used Androfem before and liked that too, cream formula whereas the gel is a strange texture, drying with a strong smell. Also clearly for women - but so expensive privately.

Thanks. Muscle building & energy would be fantastic. I do strength training and would love chance to make progress. It feels impossible to go up on weights at moment. How long did it take for you to feel a change?

Hi, I've just switched from Androfemme to Testim for cost reasons, but I'm not sure I'm applying enough Testim as I find it difficult to measure out. Can I ask how much you're using and how you manage to measure? I need 0.75mg. My tubes are tiny-5mg so one tube should last me about 4 days ish but its hard to gauge without a syringe like the one that comes with the Androfemme. Many thanks
