Advice - swapping combined pull for Mirena plus HRT

Saw the nurse today. I’m 45 and still on the combined pill. I have endometriosis and want an option that means few periods.
I know the pill it isn’t the safest option and I have been having some peri symptoms- hot flashes with sweating, insomnia. I also have anxiety but this is well controlled now on 50mg sertraline. I had a Mirena a while back but had it removed due to anxiety but that was pre sertraline.
She has suggested having a Mirena fitted and then having oestrogen via patch/ gel and also agreed to vaginal oestrogen as I have a history of recurrent UTI.
Any experience or advice?
