Absolutely fed up with my god awful heavy periods!

I’m 49 and have had heavy periods since the age of 12.
I’ve been back and forth to gynaecologists for years.
My body doesn’t seem to like artificial hormones so I’ve tried to opt for other treatments but nothing is helping.
A thickened uterine lining and recurring uterine polyps seem to be my main issue.
I have had several hysteroscopies over the last 5 years to remove the polyps but they always grow back.
Everything seems to be getting worse since mid 40’s and I also have a long list of peri symptoms (although gp won’t acknowledge this as I have a regular 28 day cycle and no day time hot sweats).
Periods very heavy, flooding, clots and was so anaemic earlier this year I ended up with urgent iron infusions.
Because of my issue with artificial hormones I ask the gynaecologist for a uterine ablation. It was performed in April this year. The procedure went well, the gynaecologist was happy, all great……
…….However, my periods have not stopped at all and I’ve now had 3 periods since the op and each one has become heavier. They also last around 10 days instead of my previous 6 or 7. I am gutted as it has obviously failed.
I don’t know where to go from here.
I can not see the gynaecologist until the end of July, gp is of no help.
I can’t have a hysterectomy for various reasons, Mirena made me loopy, tranexamic acid gives me awful diarrhoea.
I am at complete loss. I am hating my body and being a woman right now.
Fed up with my periods and fed up with these peri symptoms.
Does anyone know if body identical HRT would help me?
Would the utrogestan help thin my uterine lining? Can it help reduce a heavy period?
