I'm currently on everoconti (?) 50 patches but am switching to 75 patches and progesterone tablets 100mg at night. Anyone got on on with this? Any stock problems?

I swapped to the 100 patches and separate progesterone but I didn’t notice any improvements and the hassle of remembering the tablet every day wasn’t worth it so I went back to the combo conti ones, which seem to have settled now and I’m feeling a lot better.

That's interesting as the conti max oestrogen is 50 so that's half the dose you were on so surprised but glad you're feeling ok. I am a bit anxious around switching. Did the progesterone pill help you sleep?

Not noticeably no! If anything to start with it fucked me up a bit emotionally. But I was working nights a couple of times a week at that point so my sleep was messed up in general.

I was on Evorel Sequi (50) and am now on Evorel 75 and Utrogestan pills. No bother with the Utrogestan. I have a new problem now with the patches! They get itchy and give me red sore skin. I think this is because I’m sweating badly at night and it’s causing dampness under the patches. This is quite recent and I think it’s a side effect of starting an SSRI, rather than HRT/menopause, but I could be wrong.

I’m on evorel and progesterone. Have been taking it since sept, just increased to evorel75. And noticed substantial weight gain. Thinking of coming off it, to see if I can manage weight better. Eating, excercising etc.. I might give it a little longer.

anyone else noticed significant weight gain with HRT?
