I had the Mirena fitted last Tuesday, primarily to control bleeding whilst on HRT.
Since then, my bladder has gone awol. Constant weeing and irritation.
I had urine checked for infection and all clear. I do use topical Oestrogen to try and keep things healthy down there.
Next, bloating, migraine type headache and nausea with tummy ache.
All of this with a week!
Could these be potential side effects of the coil?
I'm told repeatedly that it can take weeks for it to settle.
Seriously, I need to work and run a home and this is not conducive with either! I feel absolutely wretched 😢
