this month I’ve started taking birth control pills (combi) to assist with increasingly heavy bleeding. I’ve been diagnosed with menorrhagia, had fibroids removed and medicated previously.
I started taking the pills day 1 at the first hint of spotting beginning. I then never got a full on period bleed but rather spotted and for the rest of the month with a few spells of heavier bleeding but nothing like a normal month.
I’ve had a Google and it appears this could happen on BCP but I’m looking for some reassurance or some advice about whether this has happened to anyone else?
Bought pills online via Superdrug so haven’t been in conversation with my doctors surgery. Thanks for any feedback.
