I am usually in Evorel 75 but due to lack of stock in pharmacies, I have been given Evorel Conti and told to cut 25% of the patch and apply as normal.
Since I started doing this I am experiencing the aches and pains of when I started right at the beginning of HRT and I had been given Evorel Conti when I still have periods.
Is it possible that it's due to the patch?
The pains I have are mostly around my lower back, sometimes they feel like exercise pains, sometimes ageing pains (I am 52!!).

I would ask for this to be moved to the menopause section but yes it does sound like it's the change of medication that had brought back these symptoms.

Hi @PeaceLoveAndCandy . Evorel Conti are only 50mg of estradiol compared to your usual 75mg per 24 hours. If anything you would need to use 1 & 1/2 of these to get your normal dose of estradiol, so I don’t understand why ‘cut 25% off’ has been recommended. Also, using 1.5 Conti would surely give you a lot of progesterone. What were you doing for the progesterone part before this change?
