Utrogestan vaginally?

Does anyone know from experience, if you are really sleepy and groggy on the oral dose, is this one of the side effects that is less if you take it vaginally?

I still have regular monthly periods and my GP has (mistakenly) told me to take Utrogestan 1 x daily continually to lesson progesterone symptoms.

Even on 1 tablet I was really groggy and nauseous the first 3/4 days. And now I realise I need to switch to the 200mg routine I’m wondering which side effects will reduce by taking it vaginally?

Hmm side effects on vaginal pack don’t seem to mention tiredness or nausea

You've just got to try it and see! Everyone is different. I find the vaginal route has far fewer side effects but I do still get some - mainly feeling very hot at night which wakes me.

I gave up on the 200mgs capsules as they come with unnecessary plastic applicators (well, my pack did!) and they are also very expensive (private prescription.)
