Hi, I have recently started HRT and have estrogel and Utrogestan. I was supposed to start Utrogestan on day 15 of cycle but it's day19 and I've only just realised (so 4 days late)!! Started estrogel on 10th May.

What is best to do?

  1. start it now for 12 days?

  2. start it now, but only take it for 8 days, then break for 2 weeks and start again, at what would have been the correct time?

  3. another option I haven't thought about?

Thanks for advice!

Anyone?

I'm thinking I'll take it for 12 days now, 8 day break, then 12 days and that will have me back on track. Bad idea?

Option 1. 8 days may not be sufficient endometrial protection.
