Is my Oestradiol level high?

My Recent bloods say oestradiol 558 pmol/L

Is this high / low / average??

Anyone?

There is no high low or average.
Best to go on symptoms, rather then blood results,
What is high for one, is low for another and so on.

Some women need lots of oestrogen to feel well, whilst others need a little.

I'm thinking more towards what the optimum range would be and what level would raise a red flag for a woman on HRT.

Consultants/specialists must work off some guide surely. As and when they were to ever check bloods

They're testing mine on Monday to see if I'm absorbing or "levels on the floor."

I want to know how do they know when oestrogen is "optimised" to then give testosterone?

I think absorption rates are so variable though.
Everyone absorbs products differently I think.

You would expect a peri menopausal women to have quite a high but fluctuating Oestrogen level, as hormones are still kicking off in the background.

But for a post meno woman, at some point the Oestrogen would be zero, then any HRT would boost those levels.

For example, I'm post menopausal. On a medium strength HRT patch, my levels go no higher than 450.

When I was peri, it was in the 700's.

Which is why I've no idea why they're testing mine! Dh did say "incase it's on the floor" but I would imagine at points in my cycle it would be pretty low.

Period decided not to bother two weeks ago so now I haven't t a clue where I am un the cycle
