Hi, advice needed please, I am going through the perimenopause
My doctor has just upped my ellleste duet tablets from 1mg to 2mg, I am only 4 days into my old 1mg pack, can you change to the 2mg straight away or should you finish the pack of 1mg first and then start on the 2mg, can’t see anything on the instructions x

Hi o would be really interest to hear your experience on Ellest I have just been prescribed these yesterday 😬

Hi I was first prescribed the lower dose, which initially stopped nearly all the symptoms, I had been on it for about 9 months when the hot flushes, anxiety, not sleeping (not as bad as before I went onto HRT) started again I rang the doctor and she was lovely, said they usually start you off on the lower dose to see how you get on. I haven't had any side effects at all and have been on the higher dose for a couple of weeks and it seems to be working 🤞hope you get on ok with it x

hi
yes I was wondering same thing, iam on kliovance 1mg and it's not working iam 14 days in and want to switch to elleste duet conti which i will have to buy online as gp said it's not available. i was previously on elleste duet 1mg separate pills, not combined, I found I had positive results on my hair and skin and hot flashes while on white pills but once I started on green ones I became extremely hormonal and looked terrible aswell. I thought a combined one would be good but this one iam on killovance 1mg/ 0.5 is doing nothing for me at all so wounderd if it's the brand or dose🤔 but when I took elleste duet 1mg of white pills I was great. but only for 2 wks😭 then went really bad on green

Thankyou so much that’s really reassuring to hear, I have read so many negative things!
really hope I have a positive experience - anything to feel better! X
