GP is prescribing oestrogen gel (already have mirena). For those of you that use them did you continue with supplements (I currently take max strength promensil and red macca which have helped a bit)....

I found out 6 weeks ago that I had a major Vit D deficiency as well as folate anaemia. So yes, I'm taking specific supplements (as opposed to the well woman / Menopace type which did nothing for me) I do have arthritis and other health conditions however and I've found a combination of Magnesium and Omega 3 & 6 helps massively with my tiredness and aches along with the Vit D and Folic acid I've been prescribed. As has finding the right strength of Oestrogen

Note: I know some people will say you shouldn't need to take supplements if you eat healthily, so this is always going to vary person to person. This is only what works for me personally (I have multiple food allergies, so can't always get what I need from my limited diet)

I have just started hrt. I think I will continue with my menopause multivitamin. I too have previously had bad Vit D deficiency and suspect my diet could be better as I don't like most fruit. I do love lots of veg though.

hmmme, well I suppose I might just keep going with them then...
